ComingSoon.net Interview
Thanks to ComingSoon.net we have a new interview with William at the set of "Prince Caspian for you guys! Enjoy!
One of the returning characters in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is Peter, the eldest of the Pevensie kids, as played by William Moseley, and in the second installment, we see him mature and start to grow into the king that we briefly saw at the end of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. On our first day at the Usti location where they're shooting most of the battle scenes, ComingSoon.net and a group of journalists were pulled aside to talk to the young actor, who had been learning a lot of new skills for the sequel.
ComingSoon.net: We heard you did some horse stunts.
William Mosely: Yeah, we did some horse stunts. What did I do recently? Well, I did the biggest horse stunt I've ever done, which was I had to… actually, it sounds pretty crazy, but I basically had to chase a running horse, I had to grab onto the saddle, I had to kick a guy while the horse was running and I had to jump onto the back of the horse, and carry on going...all in a courtyard at four in the morning, it was raining.
CS: Did you do that yourself?
Moseley: Yeah, I did that myself. It was easy. (laughs) It's funny when you do stunts like that, because you know you can do it, and if you're not quite getting it, then...I don't know, you want to do it again and again and again, but you don't really realize how dangerous it is at the time, until you look back and go, "Oh, at take 7, I probably should have taken a break."
CS: How many takes did you do?
Moseley: Seven. That's all I was allowed. I wanted to do eight, but seven was all I was allowed. Two were perfect, five I was kind of like, holding on for dear life a couple of times.
CS: Were there any wires involved?
Moseley: No wires involved, no. It was good, though. It was really fun. They must have a lot of faith in me.

Swords sharpened for future film duels
HOLLYWOOD - The 2007 summer movie season may have just come to an end, but Hollywood already is intensely focused on the holiday seasons looming far in the distance.
The third "Narnia" film, "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader," has been set for May 7, 2010 -- although not a foot of film has been shot. DreamWorks and Paramount, meanwhile, announced that they have penciled in June 26, 2009, for their "Transformers 2" -- even though there's no finished script or production start date.
As other movies stake out future release dates, some films are running for safer ground.
DreamWorks Animation initially had scheduled its 3-D animated movie "Monsters vs. Aliens" to open opposite, and then a week before, James Cameron's hotly anticipated 3-D drama "Avatar" in May 2009. But DreamWorks recently said it would get out of Cameron's way by moving "Monsters vs. Aliens" to March 2009.
Next summer, meanwhile, looks to be as competitive as this summer, and some key showdowns are shaping up even now.
Here's a look ahead to some of those duels.

Walden's Narnia Plans After the Third Pic
We know that Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media have scheduled The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian for May 16, 2008 and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader for May 7, 2010, but what are the studios' plans after that?
Walden co-founder and president Cary Granat gave Variety an update:
Hopes are highest for "Prince Caspian," which will cost at least $100 million. Granat promises that the battle-filled sequel is easily distinguishable from its predecessor and the third pic on the sked, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader."
Producers had announced at Comic-Con in July that auds could expect one "Narnia" installment each May for the next few years. Granat is committing publicly to only four or five, saying that "Silver Chair" might be the best bet for the fourth, followed by "Magician's Nephew," but he admits that there are a multitude of possibilities.
"There are a lot of stories to be taken from the seven books," he notes.
